Programs
ASAS currently serves 80,000 kids in 13 cities across the nation through comprehensive programs that are offered 5 days per week for three hours each day during the school year. Our national program content is designed to meet specific local needs and interests. Each of our sites is committed to providing a comprehensive after-school experience that integrates our three ASAS pillars and six ASAS cornerstones.

After-school is not an extension of the school day. It's a place that combines fun and learning. Quality comprehensive after-school programs emphasize fun activity-based learning that reinforces the knowledge and skills needed for in-school success. They also promote positive relationships among children and adults, create an engaging environment for children to interact with each other, and provide opportunties for children to make decisions and learn leadership skills. To maximize the positive experiences and outcomes ASAS participants receive, ASAS is focused on supporting the following national initiatives: Middle to High School Transition, Service-Learning, Career Exploration, and Sports-Based Youth Development.
After-School All-Star's programs keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life.
Selected ASAS sites also offer MIRACLES technology programs and summer programs.
