The Fab 5 answer questions from the audience
A wholehearted thank you to NBA MVP LeBron James and Lionsgate for including ASAS kids in the launch of the World Tour of the movie More Than A Game. The movie is a documentary that follows the real-life nine year journey of five inner city kids from Akron, Ohio, one of whom eventually becomes NBA phenomenon LeBron James. Director Kristopher Belman worked on this project during his third year of undergraduate studies to fulfill an Introduction to Documentary course requirement, and this is his first feature film. Kids in Chicago, Akron, New York and Los Angeles will have the thrilling opportunity to preview the movie before it hits theatres October 2nd. In Chicago, 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Hampton Elementary attended the screening and were pleasantly surprised when the Fab5 - LeBron James, Willie McGee, Romeo Travis, Sian Cotton, James Dru Joyce III - and Coach Dru showed up at the end of the movie to answer questions from the audience. One student invited LeBron to her school to watch her team play basketball. All attendees gave the movie rave reviews.
