New York Life Foundation:

The New York Life Foundation was the first major investor in ASAS’ high school preparedness program, We Are Ready, which focuses on the middle to high school transition. With the Foundation’s support, We Are Ready has quadrupled the number of youth served since 2010 and has set thousands of students on the path to high school, college and career success. Beginning in 2014, ASAS and New York Life have significantly expanded our work together. With the support of the New York Life foundation, ASAS expanded to six new cities over three years. Through this campaign—the largest expansion project in ASAS’ history—New York Life helped ensure thousands more at-risk middle school students receive the support and resources they need to realize their potential. Today, New York Life continues to support ASAS’ programming in these markets, as well as the strategic planning and organizational capacity of our network nationwide.

The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation’s support builds ASAS’ organizational capacity to more effectively serve the broader after-school field. Specifically, the C.S. Mott Foundation’s partnership enables After-School All-Stars to enhance program quality and staff training, best practice sharing, curriculum writing, and program evaluation.

Windsong Trust:

Windsong Trust is a key partner in ASAS’ efforts to develop innovative career and technical education programs that provide opportunities for youth nationwide to develop 21st Century workplace skills. Additionally, with Windsong Trust’s support in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, ASAS provides high school readiness, college immersion, and health and fitness programs to thousands of youth each year. ASAS’ partnership with the Windsong Trust helps ensure that our students feel confident in their ability to graduate from high school, go on to college or join the workforce, and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

The ELMA Music Foundation:

The ELMA Music Foundation (U.S.): The ELMA Music Foundation (U.S.), invests in organizations that use music to improve outcomes for children and youth. From 2016 – 2020, The ELMA Music Foundation (U.S.) has invested in the expansion of ASAS’ digital music production program, which aims to teach students both the art and business of music production through digital beat-building and music creation as well as career exploration.

Harris Philanthropies:

The mission of the Harris Philanthropies is to improve lives and strengthen communities through the transformative powers of youth sports. Over the past three years, the Harris Philanthropies has funded the expansion of After-School All-Stars throughout the northeast, helping us open new sites in Camden, Newark, and Philadelphia–cities to which Josh and Marjorie Harris have substantial ties and to which they are committed to making a difference.  Josh, the General Partner of the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Devils, and his wife Marjorie, are committed to funding innovative and results-driven philanthropy. Through their family foundation, they have generously supported ASAS in its mission to operate high-quality youth sports programs. Marjorie is a member of ASAS’ national board. Josh is the Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of Apollo Global Management, LLC, a global leader in alternative asset management.

Through the second phase of a multi-year partnership, T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile will help ASAS continue to expand its youth career exploration programming nationwide.

For more than two decades, Westime has distinguished itself as the ultimate retail destination specializing in extraordinary watches and jewelry. Its three boutiques in Southern California—Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and La Jolla—as well as its newest location in Miami, Florida,display the collections of more than 50 watch brands that represent the best of traditional watchmaking as well as the new guard in haute horlogerie. Westime is frequently cited as one of a dozen multi-brand retailers in the world that influences trends in the watchmaking industry. The Susan Crown Exchange:

Since 2017, the Susan Crown Exchange (SCE) has supported ASAS’ capacity to deliver high-quality after-school programs for underserved youth. SCE’s most recent multi-year investment in ASAS is increasing access to instructional training and coaching for our front-line staff, with the dual-aim of driving both program quality for youth participants as well as staff development and retention.  By investing in an ecosystem of anytime, anywhere learning, the Susan Crown Exchange prepares youth to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

The Ahmanson Foundation:

The Ahmanson Foundation serves Los Angeles County by funding cultural projects in the arts and humanities, education at all levels, health care, programs related to homelessness and underserved populations, as well as a wide range of human services. With their support, ASAS can implement their first integrated data system, bringing ASAS to the cutting edge of evaluation in the after-school field. This system will allow transformation of programs, and increase the impact of our work with students by providing the necessary information to advance strategic improvements.

Essentia Water:

Essentia Water, the pioneer of ionized alkaline bottled water in the U.S., is committed to improving people’s lives through better hydration and believes that a better you starts with a better water. Essentia is proud to be partnered with After-School All-Stars to empower the next generation of overachievers by supporting their award-winning after school programs. Through sponsorship of their Sports as a Hook (SAAH) program, Essentia’s goal is to help instill a sense of confidence in these students while reinforcing the importance of education and staying healthy and active.

FOX Sports Networks:

Since 2010, FOX Sports Networks (FSN) has worked with After-School All-Stars to continue its Sports as a Hook programming with the goal of tackling the childhood obesity crisis by helping kids become more physically active and knowledgeable about healthy eating choices. The following FSN regions are actively involved through media support, volunteerism and field trips for ASAS students: FOX Sports Ohio, Fox Sports South, and FOX Sports Florida. ASAS also partners closely with FSN nationally and on assorted projects with other regions, including FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket.

The Internet Association represents America’s leading Internet companies and their global community of users. Proceeds from the Association’s annual gala in Washington, DC have been generously donated to support ASAS’ STEM-related programs, camps, and entrepreneurship programs every year since 2015.

JCPenney Communities Foundation:

JCPenney Communities Foundation is dedicated to supporting programs that help close the opportunity gap for underserved children through essential clothing needs, access to youth programs and career readiness support, along with disaster relief assistance. ASAS and the JCPenney Communities Foundation have worked together to help bridge the gap for at-risk youth in America since 2015. JCPenney Communities Foundation is a key sponsor of ASAS’ comprehensive after-school programs in Dallas, TX, as well in communities affected by disasters such as ASAS’ programs in Florida impacted by 2017’s Hurricane Irma.

News Corp:

News Corp, a network of leading companies in the worlds of diversified media, news, education, and information services, partners with ASAS to educate and empower a skilled 21st Century workforce through our drop-out-prevention and career exploration programs, We Are Ready and Career Exploration Opportunities. By supporting these initiatives, News Corp helps ASAS increase the number of low-income students and youth of color earning high school diplomas and pursuing education and advanced training that leads to fulfilling, challenging, and long-term employment.

Mazda Foundation:

Since 2014 The Mazda Foundation (USA) has supported After-School All-Stars students participation in STEM education, high school readiness, health, fitness, and social-emotional learning, career exploration experiences, service learning, and visual and performing arts.

Through the Mazda Foundation (USA)’s continued support, ASAS is able to provide local chapters with proper program training, new STEM technology, and the development of the overall STEM curriculum. Our partnership has allowed for further expansion of ASAS’ current STEM program to include the following: coding, robotics, drone engineering, music production, and video game design.
