Beth is the National Research and Evaluation Manager. Before joining ASAS she worked for over seven years in after school programs before returning to graduate school for her Masters of Social Work. There she developed a focus on and passion for research and evaluation in their Social Change concentration. In addition to her work in after school programs, she spent a year in the City of Alexandria in their child welfare division conducting research for the agency.
She also spent a year at a local non-profit working jointly a case manager and assisted in their program evaluation efforts, including designing client feedback surveys and running a parent focus group. She is excited to work in an organization that combines her two professional passions; working on behalf of children in the after-school space, and research and evaluation.
Beth currently lives just outside DC, in Alexandria, VA with her husband Nick and their dog Kylie.
