Our Chapters

Columbus

Over 50 middle-school students from Ohio and Texas participated in ASAS Ohio’s CampUs at The Ohio State University during the summer. They toured colleges, lived in the dorms, met professionals during nightly career panels, and completed a community service project. All-Stars left CampUs feeling excited, empowered, and confident about their futures.

Spotlight

Tracy Ensign

Executive Director

Tracy has a deep passion for underserved communities. Before All-Stars, she worked for many years at the State of Ohio Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives where she strived to make improvements in the areas of hunger relief, infant mortality, teen pregnancy, and re-entry programs. This experience brought her to ASAS Ohio in 2012 where she now leads the Ohio chapter as the Executive Director. Her favorite part of her work is the face-to-face interaction with students. "They are so incredible, smart, and full of promise...they are our future," said Ms. Ensign. Outside of work, Tracy can be found cheering on her Buckeyes, listening to her daughter sing opera, and visiting her son and daughter-in-law.
