ASAS STEM CampUs Chicago

all-starmoment_chi-campus2014-300x217Teza Technologies, a global technology firm, has funded After-School All-Stars STEM CampUs Chicago for three consecutive years, as part of a multi-year commitment to STEM education. “With evidence pouring in that we need to engage kids in after school programming, I am thrilled that we have deepened our level of involvement with this outstanding organization,” said Misha Malyshev, CEO and Founder of Teza and ASAS National Board Member.

STEM CampUs included career exploration visits to Microsoft, Teza Technologies and the McCormick Foundation. Students learned computer coding and built their own websites through a new website creation challenge from Mozilla Foundation. Additionally, the students developed apps and business plans, which they presented to a panel of judges from Teza Technologies, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Public Schools. STEM CampUs has been featured on Fox News and Chicago Sun-Times.
