Without a place to go after school, Tajah used to spend her time drinking, smoking and getting into fights. She didn’t want to end up like her little brother who was killed by gang violence. Tajah didn’t believe in her potential until she got involved with After-School All-Stars. With the support of the staff and students at ASAS, she began believing in herself and participating in activities that were beneficial to her future. Tajah now focuses her time on getting good grades, singing and dancing.
